Lungbauer hits his second homer of the season already for Danville... Wilson on fire... Our rookie leagues are going to be so fun to watch until they all get promoted so quickly

Lugbauer homered a second time today, three already on the year. All three are oppo homers.

Lineups in Danville have been interesting.

Lugbauer Has played 3b, 1b, and catcher.

Owenby seems to be dh mostly the first week, but also got a few innings at c.

Care to share on the info?

In Part:

Drew Lugbauer batted .290 with 11 homers and 58 RBI this season for the Wolverines and wowed with his .917 on-base plus slugging percentage. He mostly played third base this season, out of necessity, but has been a catcher most of his career and was drafted as such.

At 6-foot-4, 230 pounds, Lugbauer said he considers himself a power hitter and expects to “utilize that asset as part of the foundation of my game.”

Lugbauer said his goal, though admittedly lofty, is to improve and “become a complete hitter like Mike Trout.” He also has marveled at the defensive work of San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey.
