If anyone cares — Maitan has 11 errors in 16 games in short season ball. Hitting .290 but only with a .698 OPS.

It was made clear some time ago that Yunior Severino was the biggest loss from CoppyGate. In a few cases, the commish may have done the Braves a favor.

I've been checking in on the guys we lost due to the scandal and the results haven't been that great for any one of them other than Yunior Severino who is hitting well at the Twins' Elizabethton entry in the Appalachian League. Of course, they are all still young so it's too early to tell if they will develop or not. One surprise to me is that the Royals put Yefri Del Rosario in Low-A at Lexington in the SAL. He's getting lit up to this point, but that was a really aggressive move by the Royals and the results shouldn't be unexpected.
