Randy Johnson struggled with control, and so did Newk, so Newk is going to be awesome. Remember that point a couple years ago?

It’s fun seeing the same illogical thoughts recycled over and over by the intellectually challenged posters haha.

If another organization values Wilson as even a back end rotation piece the Braves need to cash in. There are so many options who should be ahead of him for any future rotation sports. A great outcome for him based on what we have seen so far is a high leverage reliever. I just don't think he has enough to start.

Check out the early stats for guys like Glav and Smoltz. Good thing you weren’t in charge back then.

How many pitches does Wilson throw that are considered above average?
Glavine and Smoltz had muliple above average to elite pitches plus elite control.Bryce has one good one and ok control.
He’s a fastball only guy that has a ceiling of Jason
Schmidt if everything went right but in all probability will be a solid BP piece.

I think Wilson becomes a very solid RP. Possibly even a high leverage arm. But a starter he is not without some really unforeseen improvements in command/control and adding at least 1 if not 2 average or better offerings.

Contreras has four hits, Jenista has three. Would be nice to see them both get going at Double A to end the season.

Both now over the Mendoza line for the first time (I think) since their promotion to AA. Who knows, Didder might get over .200 as well.

Wilson is a AAAA starter. The hope is that he can become a good major league reliever.

In his past 2 MLB starts, one of them was our best starter performance in the past few weeks... Wilson is more than a AAAA talent

Edit: was one of our best performances

He’s still my number 1 trade candidate though
