Shewmake is off to a good start. Not K'ing a lot and hitting tons of extra base hits. Langoliers on the other hand isn't off to a great start.

Shewmake's hit tool was arguably the best in the draft and well ahead of Langeliers. In fact, if Shea had Shewmake's hit tool he'd have been first overall.

Shewmake needs to move up to Florida. Shea could probably stay at Rome the rest of the year and be fine.

He appeared to be very thin in the highlight videos I've seen of him at Rome. I think Shewmake may develop more HR power as he fills out.

He'll probably need to change his swing a bit to get more elevation. Very flat right now. Sprays line drives around.
