It's hard to gauge the actual size without a field on it, but it does appear to have virtually no foul territory, and also appears to be quite a bandbox.

I will say its looking very nice though. I liked Fulton County Stadium as it seemed to be very closed in, and this place have a similar feel I think.

I don't know if it will be a bandbox or not, but yes, not a lot of foul territory. The wall in RF is going to be interesting for the fielders to play with.

Paraphrase please so we don't have to subscribe to that rag.

Ricky Leroux of The Marietta Daily Jorunal had the details behind the Braves incremental move to their new home.

Plant said the Braves began moving things out of Turner Field on Oct. 3, the day after the final game at Turner Field, and while some of the equipment and other items will be stored in a warehouse for a few months, some are already being delivered to SunTrust Park.

“Some of our field equipment, for example, that’s used for all of the maintenance work that (Field Director) Ed (Mangan) does throughout the summer,” Plant said.

The first game scheduled at SunTrust Park is an exhibition against the New York Yankees on March 31, but Plant said there will be several events at the ballpark and adjacent mixed-use development before that matchup.

I just looking through the thread that started the day we got the announcement of the new ballpark. Good call, ForeverFredi:

You guys forget that Suntrust is Atlanta based. Suntrust Stadium.

UPS is Atlanta like Memphis is FedEx.

Chik Fil A wouldn't go that big, Coca Cola would be a no brainer. The question is what about the Falcons?
