Suntrust park question

I'm booking a trip and would like to avoid driving to the game. I've found a hotel (doubletree suites Atlanta galleria) that's 0.4 miles to stadium. That's a great walking distance, but not sure what the area looks like. Is that a good area to walk in?

You should try to get the full experience of the battery. I'd book at the new omni hotel they are building overlooking the field. Then you have access to all the restaurants and shopping in walking distance

That one is going to be pretty expensive, though.

7, you'll have no problem walking in that area. It's a nice part of town. The days of Turner Field are over.
