Counting the days since he left game (including the game he left), today is day 11. I have heard nothing on his return. Please don't tell me this injury is much worse than we were told.

I hope not, though it would make sense with how bad his at-bats were towards his DL stint. Absolutely no power.
 
Just a guess, but they're likely just giving him extra time to get all the way back to 100%.

No need to rush since they're doing just fine without him. Sure you'd love to see him back with Camargo sliding over to 3B, but take advantage of the opportunity you have to make him right while you can. Some of these guys are bound to cool off at some point (Acuna's not exactly lighting the world on fire right now already), and he's not going to be much help like he was.
 
I figure they gave this time to figure out whether Bautista is worth it or not, I fully expect Dansby to return when the Braves come home and Bautista to be given his walking papers

Swanson will take BP on the field today. Barring no setbacks, it sounds like he could return during this weekend’s series against the Marlins.
