Without even knowing who the potential player in return might be?

Nobody is advocating selling him for pennies on the dollar.

No. No sale. We control him for five more years (until new CBA), he's cheap and he's a 3 win pitcher. I doubt you replicate that value in any deal. Of course if somebody wants to give you Glasnow and Meadows...but I hear the Pirates are well run now.

Strider/Elder/Tarnok/Estes are going to be quite the quartet to watch this year.

I know there are others included but feel like we are going to get at least 2 quality major league starting pitchers out of that group.

Speaking of Strider: really impressive interview with him over at Fangraphs. Relevant audio begins about 29 minutes into the episode. Not just a very analytical kid, but seemingly a very thoughtful kid in general. I'm certainly more of a fan now than I was before listening.
