Very Flirtatious, but Doubts What Love Is.
I have Gohara at #31.
Thirty-one stone, maybe.

So are we just not considering Gohara a top 30 prospect anymore? That is the thing we are doing?
Okay, I guess I'm board. Jeremy Fernandez hype train leaving the station at 3:30. Choo Choo!
I have to admit, I had no recollection of Jeremy Fernandez.
Hey...body shaming went out with Harang and Baby Harang
I would put Ynoa above Muller and Wentz.
Gross. Why?

I don't have much patience for Wentz.
Ynoa has never had a whole lot of success except for his short stint in Florida, which has the reputation of being an extreme pitchers league.
None of the three are anything like elite prospects.
Ynoa has an elite 2 pitch mix. His minor league stats arent that great because he is being developed as a starter and working a lot on his 3rd pitch. Plenty of elite relievers were failed minor league starters converted to the pen in the majors.
Ynoa has a much better fastball. Ynoa/Cruz/Muller/Weigel I think are going to be elite relievers for us.
Why is the TC list getting this much activity. I'd much rather discuss Rico's.
Ok but rotation spots are limited and we dont have the luxury for a few of them to learn on the job. We can look forward to being a perennial contender for the division title, now we need to build a winning playoff team. For that an elite bullpen would be nice. I have seen enough playoff bullpen meltdowns to last a lifetime.
Most likely they all end up as relievers but it makes sense to give them every opportunity to develop as starters.
Then why not utilize them in that role now rather than as pieces you trade for rentals? If these guys can turn into Giles/Smith types, why don't you just go ahead and put them in the pen while you have a chance to win instead of screwing around? Get rid of Blevins and Tomlin and fill those spots with Wilson/Ynoa/Weigel/Muller/Davidson types who can give you multiple innings right now AND be rotated on the Atlanta-Gwinnett shuttle for the next few years?
If someone would make Snitker quit yanking the guys he's been given to go multiple innings after one inning regardless of how they're pitching, the need to get 6-7 innings out of every SP would be greatly reduced. Unless they've made the decision to turn Newk and Touki into high-leverage weapons for good, the argument against using some of these really good arms we have in the pen makes sense - if you plan to continue developing them as SPs, it is pretty stupid to use them as 1 inning RPs. However, if Snitker would use them the right way, that would go a long way towards "fixing" the pen. There's very little reason Newk or Touki should only pitch one inning when they're called on, and the same would apply to Wilson/Ynoa/Weigel/Muller/Davidson.
