Doesn't mean it's good or good for the consumers. If Apple can sell an inferior phone for 750 then you can bet Samsung will raise the price on the S10 and so on so forth. So far for non-large format phones 700 has been the entry level ceiling. Samsung pushed that a bit but Apple is pushing it further with a cheap screen. I get that the internals are largely the same as the pricier Xs and Xs Max minus the camera, but I don't see it competing with apple fans. I think this move is to kill off the "cheap" iPhones. ANd if it doesn't, Apple still makes a relatively tidy profit as this phone will be much cheaper to make than the iPhone X with it's cheaper material body, ****tier camera, and much cheaper display.

I honestly am not close to being as up on tech as I was but I honestly feel like unless you care about AI, tech has been shit for years. We haven't had like a cool and unique tech I feel like in decades because everything left the hardware adn slid to software. I guess AR is not that old. But it's not new. Like what has come out in the last decade that's as thrilling as the first iPhone, or any other similar reveals.
