As one who served 30 years in the US Army, I'd like to say thank you to the Braves' organization for all they do to recognize, support, and honor all of our servicemen and women as well as military families. In that same light, I'd also like to express my appreciation to the Braves fan base for those same attributes.
I never was stationed at any of Georgia's military installations. However, I've been to Fort Benning on a few occasions, most notably for Airborne (parachutist) training in 1974 and Ranger school in 1976.
As I know Chip, Joe, Don et.al. will mention the sacrifices made by our military on this Memorial Day, it's very much a team effort with the support of so many great Americans that make the defense of this great nation possible.
