While there's still work by this team to be done and the season not yet over, I just wanted to thank all the loyal users here on behalf of our hard-working moderating staff, whom have stuck around to enjoy this 2018 Division Winning Season. We haven't had as much fun on the board here during the season since 2013 when we last won the division.
We've lost a lot of forum users here during the dark times the last few years of the rebuild. Lots of heads clashing and ideological bickering. A lot of long time and semi-long time posters left and either went back to Scout or just haven't come back altogether after they raged quit. I also want to thank posters like @clvclv who've stuck it out here despite being ganged up on several times. Thanks for enduring your stay here. Always nice to read different opinions even if I disagree with them. Also I don't know where you are @thethe, but I hope you somehow come back for the NLDS.
The only reason I still pay the rent for this place is to keep this community alive, as you're all like a second family. So thanks for keeping this place alive and worthwhile to check my phone or computer every 5-10 minutes. This place wouldn't be awesome if not for people like @CrimsonCowboy and @rico43 who work harder than I do to keep you guys satisfied.

On a final note, I just want everyone to have our long-time friend @Mrs. Meta, formerly known as GenericBravesFan, in their thoughts. He hasn't been seen or heard from in a few weeks. The last time I spoke to him, he was waiting on test results to find out if he had cancer. He went dark (deactivated facebook, stopped posting here and logging in) and I haven't heard from him since. I hope everything is well from him. The last time we were in the NLDS in 2013 he started all 4 Gameday Threads. He has had cerebral palsy for a long time as well, so I hope that he's just taken a sabbatical to clear his thoughts and that the cancer results came back negative.
