That is ugly. You have a gold helmet with a banana yellow jersey. It has a giant KC logo and the number and the name of team on the front. What the hell.

What in the world is that? I guess that was the year a handful of teams wore uniforms that were supposed to be from the future for a handful of games. I remember the Rays and Mets did it too.

Well they wouldn't have to wear the powder blues on the road. But the home uniform from the 80s was dang sharp. The blue was the lighter blue color and the uniforms just popped.

I never liked that elastic band waist look. Put on a belt and we're in business.
