The Biden Presidency

Upon further consideration, I don't think indoctrination about climate change is necessary. After the vaccine purge, only woke folk will be left. Indoctrinating about climate change becomes redundant or even overkill at that point.

Lol, they really believe all that aren't vaccinated will die of covid, don't they?

Weird that stuff like anti trump and BLM lend itself to traitorous scum.

Nicolas Chaillan joined the US Air Force as its first chief software officer in August 2018. He worked to equip it and the Pentagon with the most secure and advanced software available.

But Chaillan quit on September 2. In his departing LinkedIn post, he cited the Pentagon's reluctance to make cybersecurity and AI a priority as a reason for his resignation.

Speaking to the Financial Times in his first interview since leaving, Chaillan said China was far ahead of the US.

"We have no competing fighting chance against China in fifteen to twenty years. Right now, it's already a done deal; it is already over in my opinion," he said.

Chaillan went on to say that the AI capabilities and cyber defenses of some government departments were at "kindergarten level," the FT said.

What Mr. Chaillan doesn't realize is that though their cyber, AI, naval, air, missile, and unmanned forces may be advancing significantly faster than ours, we have troops who are far better versed on proper pronoun usage, the importance of intersectionality, and climate change.

Mr. Chaillan raises some good points. But I think he exaggerates a bit. From conversations with one of my children, who works as a scientist in AI for perhaps the most cutting edge company in the field, I don't think the West and the United States and the United States military in particular are sitting around gazing at their navels when it comes to AI.

How does one " quit" the US Air Force ?

You submit a letter of resignation. If you are an officer, there is a process for reviewing such requests and sometimes the resignation is accepted.

But I believe Chaillan is a civilian. He probably has a contract which specifies things such as terms under which he can resign.

China is making an enormous push in AI. About that there is no doubt. But they are not the world beaters in the field. The accomplishments of American and other western scientists in the field are a good deal more impressive.

My understanding has always been (unless you are an outside contractor --- even then) you are bound by law to full fill a time specified commitment.
They can terminate you at will but ...

Are you talking about officers or civilians

Either

When it was reported AF pilots were quiting en masse a reason that claim was debunked was, AF pilots can't just quit.
Like say a sandwich maker at Jimmy John's or Hobby Lobby

They can submit a letter of resignation. But there is a process for dealing with those and acceptance of a letter of resignation is far from automatic.

Great thread.

We are winning but we need to crush the necks of the communists once and for all. No quarter for this poison in western society.

The power grab is something I've never seen before... it will surely be used in epic retaliation in the future

I can't remember legislation that should have had more bipartisan opposition than this one. What voter can possibly look at this and say "Yeah, I want the Trumps and Pelosis of the world to have access to all of my finance information," seriously?
