The Biden Presidency

I will say it's quite amazing to see how Trump has flipped the Republican Party.

When Crimea happened all they said was "leading from behind, sanctions are a waste, we look weak, etc.". They practically wanted us to go to war with Russia over crimea. I remember when Obama told Putin he'd have more flexibility after the election on a hot mic how that was this great conspiracy.

Now it's "BIDEN WANTS WAR!!!".

I'm amazed but not surprised at how much of a stranglehold Trump has on the party that they basically flipped their platform on Ukraine in less than 8 years.

Oh yeah... the same republican voters on my Facebook were using those talking points back then. Then fell in love with Trump. And like clockwork the last two weeks are just parrotting the BIDEN WANTS WAR stuff.

Pretty hilarious to see how they've flipped in 8 years.

Well the those are anecdotes.

The Republican leadership hasn’t represented Republican voters for a long time.
 
Who do we give credit for changing the democrats to a middle class workers policy to one that defends Silicon Valley and big pharma?
 
I'm confused is sad suggesting he'd agree more with the republicans if they were still war thirsty?

is it not a good thing that Trump changed the direction of the war hungry party?

I’m still very confused on what the harsh critics of Biden’s response actually want. I’m not looking to carry water for Biden here, I’m just confused because I’m simultaneously hearing that he’s being too weak on Russia and also wants to start WW3 with them. In fact, I feel like I’m hearing that from the same people.

This is an honest wonder, by the way. I’m happy to listen to you guys on what solutions are out there.

The anger is based on the idea that Biden has enabled and emboldened Putin in a way his predecessor didn't .

Today, there are not easy solutions. We should not be in this situation
 
Their are no good solutions right now because of the many steps that got us here. All debacles from this regime.

Destroyed the perception of election integrity in the US. Putin's always wanted that since the US does not recognize him as legitimately winning his elections.



He also wanted NATO destabilized which Trump tried desperately to do.
 
You know, I think Biden is just living in the past. Biden remembers Russians fighting alongside his grandkids in WWII.

Putin is an amazing troll. He and his internet troll squad have managed to create so much doubt and have turned Americans against one another so many times over the pettiest and stupidest issues.

The Blue Lives Matter was not an organic resposne to Black Lives Matter. It was spammed like crazy by russian bot farms. Putin has continued to use the internet to get the general american public to be divided.

Trump was the best case scenario for him. Because Trump literally was repeating Putin's talking points for him.
 
I love the idea and psychology by the right that North Korea, China, Russia, Iran were afraid of Trump.

This is the part no one gets. Russia and China are several steps ahead of us on this front. Because we have a free society they can manipulate it more.

It's like I used to say to sturg years ago, you cannot have a free market in a world where not everyone plays by the same rules. China and Russia can block their citizen's from accessing the internet in the same way us Americans do, so they can just troll us in a way we cannot fight back.
