Sheesh. A good press secretary has the response to any likely question committed to memory and plenty of contentless form answers ready for surprise questions.

I'm pretty sure if I was president, I wouldn't let the press secretary have notes beyond official prepared statements/releases. If you cant do that job without notes you're not a good fit.
