You know, I really hope not. Investigations are just ignored by >95% of the population at this point, including me. They're just obviously political theatre. Replace Wray with someone right of center. If someone needs to be canned, can them. Both OBiden administrations have purged anyone not toeing their political line throughout federal law enforcement and military. Fire the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff. Fire anyone working in all diversity, equity, and inclusion departments.
Yes, politicizing these positions by instituting political litmus tests and ideological purges is a horrible idea, but Valerie Jarrett yanked that genie out of the bottle in January of 2008. They want to play stupid games, give them stupid prizes.
Once that's done use my hostage tactic of letting the Dems choose between an amendment to lock the SC at 9 justices or Pubs waiving the filibuster and installing 4 justices that make Clarence Thomas look like AOC. No more threat of packing the Court.
Put every DC city resident in a Maryland voting district. Do the same with Guam residents in Hawaii and Puerto Ricans in NY. No more threat of six new Senators.
Deny student loan payout for any non STEM classes/texts. Tax the endowments and their gains the same as corporate holdings. Use the DoE that shouldn't exist to deny any research grants or other funding to any program with foreign national students from hostile countries, including China. Make any school with a Confucius Institute or other foreign influence group ineligible for a single federal dollar. That starts to heal the rot in academia.
One side has been treating this as a high school debate while the other treats it as a religious crusade. Fix that.
The starting point is holding people accountable for what they’ve done. It must be clear with harsh punishment that these crimes will not be taken lightly. I believe any reasonable person can tell what’s been happening and how coordinated the effort was to take Trump down.

This should definitely be reviewed, and if it’s determined that there was a coordinated effort to cook the numbers, there should be accountability.
The only thing I’d caution is that this is based off the word of Jim Jordan, who I do not trust. It wouldn’t shock me if this was a lot less serious than he’s claiming. Every DOJ has at least some agenda, just as I seem to remember the last one being hyper concerned with Migrant crime.
Just think about what we still don’t know.
And some think even suggesting a stolen election is out of bounds.
The people are not in control of this country and longer.

Back when I was in the forecasting business I belonged to a lil group aptly called the Forecasters Club.
It was mostly a bunch of old farts who would meet once a month for lunch and had an annual contest where we entered forecasts for the upcoming year.
I also used to participate in the Wall Street Journal economic forecast survey on behalf of my employer.
Without going too much into the details my track record compared favorably to my peers. The president of the Forecasters Club at one point was so impressed he asked me to speak at one of the lunches to share my secret sauce. But there were times I was wrong. Even spectacularly wrong. That happens.
But my work focus is a bit different these days.
I was happy to engage you on what the Q2 number might be. And if it gives you a little pleasure to see me get the number wrong, well I'm happy for you.
