The Biden Presidency

Tax receipts went UP after Trump tax cuts.

These people have to stop spending so much. Not stealing from the productive members of society to fund their communist bull****.

Why is spending cuts NEVER on the table?

Federal corporate tax receipts rose by 10% from 2013 to 2016. They FELL by 23% from 2016 to 2019.

Federal personal income tax receipts rose by 17% from 2013 to 2016. They rose 11% from 2016 to 2019. The slowdown meant that federal receipts were about $1 trillion less than they would have otherwise been in 2019.

We won't go to war with China without Japan at our side. They bring another 154 ships.

I haven't cracked one of these open in a long time, but for those of you interested in evaluating the balance of naval power, this would be the authoritative source.

They're expensive books, so try to find one at a library. Or a used copy from a few years ago.

I'm not concerned by those graphs at all. In military terms, quality is often far more important than quantity.

China has 60 submarines and the US has 68. China might surpass the US in number of subs before long. However, 50 of China's 60 subs are diesel attack subs. Far, far inferior to nuclear powered subs as they make far, far more noise. Every US sub is nuclear powered.

The capabilities of the surface ships are also not the same. Chinese military tech is improving, no doubt, but it still lags behind the US. This is especially true in command and control capabilities.

But perhaps the most lopsided of all are the aircraft carrier numbers. China has 2, the US has 11. American aircraft carriers also carry more planes and the catapult tech the US has allows American planes to carry more fuel and weapons and still achieve takeoff.

China is modernizing their navy and increasing its numbers. However, they still lag far behind the US in terms of capabilities. It's something we need to watch but it's hardly scary at this point.

That was my point about China needing every ship available if they ever want to invade a country. They aren’t logistical capable of successfully moving enough troops to over the ocean.
