“Within the confines” is where you show yourself not to be one
That’s okay! Different philosophies are welcome even if I personally disagree.
WIthout consideration of countries is a silly concept. Why even have countries then? Whats the point?

Good to know you've admitted you haven't been paying attention.
The discussion surrounded why is housing so expensive. You guys claim its strictly supply while I'm saying its an artificial demand spike that can be easily remedied.
I'd rather be in a position where we don't have huge amounts of inventories sitting unoccupied.
I think everyone here is aware the immigration is also a problem. That doesn't change the fact that we are in a housing shortage.
Caused by tens of millions of illegals artificially increasing demand / decreasing supply.
Illegals aren't buying houses and are not occupying millions of houses that would otherwise be for sale.
You are arguing 2 different points between housing prices and actual inventory.

Foreign trade is an area where you support protectionism, and I don’t agree. It is what it is
Country borders are explained by factors outside of economics. If those factors didn’t exist, country borders would be unnecessary.Going to answer the question I posed?

With that said, the concept of comparative advantages exists without borders. It’s better if abundant California produces avocados and North Dakota fracks energy due their geography. It would be bad if North Dakota put tariffs on California avocados to protect North Dakota farmers.
