Can someone explain the rationale for doing this? Obviously we know pudding brain had nothing to do with it... but who on his staff thought this was important? Or was it just a complete oversight?

Will dems ever hold their politicians accountable for anything?

I'll tell you exactly what happened.

Someone on the Biden team simply pulled a list of convicts currently serving steep sentences for drug charges and didn't bother vetting any of them. They just wanted the headlines.

Votes have consequences. None of his voters here will feel responsible if that guy goes out and murders another family

Fentanyl presentation at school today,

Dea agent said the attitude toward seizures has increased 10 fold since DJT was inaugurated, and the only words he had for prior POTUS was “the ineptitude had to be intentional” from what he saw on the ground.

Stuff is everywhere, someone dying every 4 minutes and seeing a lot more unintentional deaths from people not knowing what it is.

Said cartels are doing this intentionally to cut costs and hurt our population- Mexico gets it from China where you can walk in and buy it in bulk off the street with no credentials.

I mean he served his sentence in CT for the murder. He was in the fed for selling crack cocaine. So he's not wrong. He probably got a list of people in Fed for dealing/possession and he was one of them.

Connecticut was the one who failed. It shouldn't be on the federal government to make state laws be efficien in dealing out justice.

Yes, but as someone who is doing the pardoning you should take in consideration the fact he only did 20 years for killing a parent and child.

There is no way to rationalize this stupid decision.

There's an easy way to rationalize it. If you ask for a list of people who're serving crimes A B and C you'll get them. So dealing with the hey gimme a list of people in federal prison who're serving time for non-violent drug crimes, that's just essentially a query that whatever results happen will happen.

I love that they just lied every month and everyone was like "yeah we know... anyway"

Having the process be that the government just releases its own data about its performance as the officially accepted data seems like a thing to fix.

You’re preaching to the choir. I just like some different policies and outcomes than you do.

Yes. I want much smaller influence from the entity who lies to me about everything... and you want much larger influence from the entity who lies to you about everything
