The Biden Presidency

I think the continuing trend of people being “threatened” with auto-checkout, etc, is hilarious. Like, if you ask for a living wage, then...ROBOTS!

Those positions that can be replaced by automation already have been, to some extent. I’m sure everyone’s experienced that their local grocery is probably already running lean, depending a lot on self-checkout. And guess what? Those positions that can be replaced by robots will be fairly soon, regardless of salary demands. And we’re a long way from the rest of the positions in the store being replaced.

Even in the low-wage economy, there’s still a lot that ROBOTS can’t do. But they still want people to knuckle under and accept pennies. **** them. **** their robots, and **** the bootlickers who want the workers to settle for exploitation wages.
 
Not going to play that game, but I’m certain that that cashier is worth a lot more than he/she is getting paid.

The hollowing out of the labor movement means that the cashier doesn’t have anyone fighting for them, but til Mr. Robot can do all of those jobs, that person is worth a lot more to the org than they’re getting paid.

How about let’s start with a national floor and allow states to determine things from there?
 
I’m not really sure I get your position here. People who are working low-wage jobs are depending on government aid to survive. Is it not better for them to be adequately compensated for their labor than to be lowballed and on the dole?
 
If you implement this or raise the minimum wage, there will be robots!!!

All of that is happening now without doing the things that we are threatened with
 
Idk why we have so many people wasting their time posting here when they could clearly be starting businesses and exploiting these labor inefficiencies

To be fair Biden is basically on deaths door so it’s very possible he can communicate beyond this realm.

There's simply no way out of this mess that the fed has created. It started long before Biden but it is in overdrive now. And each new crisis will require larger and more frequent bailouts

Like most world super powers in history, America will be defeated not by a foreign enemy but instead by bankruptcy
