This rationalization of how Milley took control of the civilian military is scary.

They are showing us who they are.
 
This is why presidential elections never really mattered bc the deep state always controlled the show.

Trump threw a wrench into everything and we saw a comple, relentless attack from corporate, media, and elected officials the likes of which I have never seen.

We are not a republic anymore

It was a coup since it was clear Trump was going to win the 2016 election.

Anyone thinking otherwise is just a plain partisan hack.

I could see a general thinking he has to take control if he thinks the president's gone rogue. However, to conspire with one of our enemies while doing it is indefensible.

Milley is completely compromised.

In 2015 he vehemently said that China isn't an adversary or enemy.

This has been the line from the Democrats for a while and the whole Russian collusion hoax was an order from the CCP to divert from their ascension.

We are going to clean house COMPLETELY in 2024.

The NYT "resistance" informant.
The dossier.
The timing of the vaccine approval.
The contrast in reactions to the Capitol building floor poopers and the Summer of murdering/burning/looting peaceful protesters whose socially just cause overcame the social distancing requirements that closed down schools.

The whole "deep state" tangent was one of those things that I thought Trump was FoS about in 2016. He was right and I was wrong.

In fairness to Milley, that is what any military officer should publicly say about anyone that we aren't officially in a state of conflict with.

This is a fair point but its completely different than the rhetoric coming from the CCP. And I would also feel better if I actually believed that Milley was saying it for the sake of diplomacy and not that he truly meant it.
