It's obviously not about violence. Dems are quite familiar with astroturfing nationwide protests with dark money and are afraid the same thing or effect will happen here, so they're preempting it. Rules for thee but not for me.

For the sake of clarity, I don't care if Trump ordered on the advice of Desantis, Ronald Reagan, and Billy Graham, it should be beyond the government's reach.

I agree, they should be more focused on investigating Hawley to see if he intends to try to overthrow the government if he doesnt like who wins in 2024.

Yeah, sucks when people commit obvious crimes and the local DA can just decide its not a crime by refusing to prosecute. These citizens dont have qualified immunity though.
