To be fair, they've made it clear they want higher gas prices for just that reason for years now. Unfortunately lots of Americans haven't paid attention due to things like mean tweets, or binders full of women.
 
Then maybe you should nominate people who wont try to overthrow the government if they dont win? Theres no amount of policy that makes up for that.

How about the administration that started a policy to forcefully seperate migrant kids from the parents as a deterrent with no plan or organization to reunite them.
