I
When it comes to COVID, we’re basically at an agree to disagree point. I accept that the vaccine hasn’t done what we expected it to, but still see some benefits for it. I don’t agree that letting it run its course for the past year was the path forward, and ultimately don’t feel qualified to offer an alternative.
For everything else, I don’t think there’s much in my day-to-day life that’s gotten better, but also haven’t had much that’s gotten worse. Inflation is an issue, but I still think it’s reasonable to state that the forces that are driving it are not something directly attributable to the Biden Administration. Ultimately the issue I have is that I don’t see a better path than voting for whichever flavor of the week the Democrats put out there. I still strongly favor the social views of the Left to the Right, and still think they’re more likely to support some of the primary positions I do, even if I acknowledge that it’s not particularly likely to result in the outcome I’d want. I think until we gain traction on a true 3+ party system and put pressure on elected officials to respond to the will of the voters that this will remain the case. Voting Republican because I think Biden is useless presently means resigning myself to accept outcomes I don’t feel like accepting. If that makes me a sheep, so be it. I don’t want it to all be this way, but it just is.
Everything about COVID is worse... As DC now requires you to show your papers when leaving your house.
Meanwhile, Biden standing up the domestic terror unit... Seems against your principles, no?
Are you in support of killing the fillibuster? Biden wants to.
