Ashley Biden's diary was "left at a B&B" and turned over to Veritas who certainly didn't share it with the company who leaked it with the police. At least that's their story.

But really what happened though was a Trumper snooped around and stole something that wasn't theirs, and sold it. Maybe Veritas isn't lying and they didn't know it was stolen, but they had to have. It would be foolish to think otherwise. They ran into the legal quandary of publishing it and instead one of their operatives leaked it to a fringe site with a loose connection as a means to still get it out there.

I guess I’m forced to agree with you but I still think the diary may have been Russian disinformation.

What is funny is the left seems to distract as to the method of getting information as opposed to said information. Just know that you are effectively defending a depraved man that deserves eternal suffering for what he’s done.

The same reason any VP has been selected in decades: the Presidential candidate/campaign selected the VP candidate they thought would make for the strongest overall ticket to win the election. They succeeded in that effort. It doesn’t mean that primary voters in 2024 will vote for Harris.

I’m sure the answer you’re looking for is identity politics, but that doesn’t have to hold such a negative connotation when VP selections are always about rounding out the ticket. Mike Pence was on the ticket to identify with midwesterners and evangelicals. That sure sounds like identity politics to me. Just because the specific identity they were looking for to pair with the old white man was a black woman, it doesn’t mean that the underlying process was any different.
