It wasnt the lying that was the issue it was that you people actually bought what he was selling. Who care if Joe Biden misremembers when he visited ground zero after 9/11. He wont be hyper focusing on it for months like Trump would do about stupid **** like crowd sizes that no one cares about.

By the old standards sure, but the bar for mental competency was lowered dramatically by Trump. No reason to hold a Dem President to a higher standard than a Republican President.
 
Serious question: Does anyone know what Biden has supposedly done to warrant this impeachment inquiry? Not what he actually did, but what do the idiot GOP lawmakers claim he did?

The bar certainly won't be raised as long as each side keeps nominating people who are old as dirt and weren't exactly smart when they were in their prime. Nominate RDS and then it becomes a valid point. Nominate Trump and it's just trading one old Farr for another.

The claim is he accepted bribes. There's no question Hunter Biden was out using his status as the VPs son to get people to give him money. But that unethical not illegal. What they don't have is proof Biden accepted any money himself or that he changed any policy as a result of Hunter getting paid. They claim his leveraging of Ukraike to fire a corrupt prosecutor is a result of Hunter being bribed but it was a move that was supported by Republicans as well as several other countries.



They have also claimed Joe was part of a Hunter deal with a Chinese company based on an email where Hunter proposed how a split of the comany would work and some percent ess for the "Big guy" which we know to be Joe Biden. The only issue is in a later email Hunter says Joe emphatically turned down the deal. Which they usually don't mention in the Republican propaganda media.

They are like a guy who cheats on his wife but accuses her of infidelity to cover his own crimes.

It would be hilarious if they actually had to argue that position in a court after all the shtt they let Trump do.
