This is the best bench we've had in quite some time, and will only get better once Inciarte comes back as a 4th OFer. Braves need to find a way to make a 7-man pen work.
he's been figured out
I don’t think so.
So far he’s a mistake hitter. He’s had to get a mistake. When he does it’s a big hit.
To me it doesn’t look like dansby when the sliders came out.
They are throwing hard up and in like the scouting report says. Hit it and he’s out. Drift over the plate and it’s a bomb.
From the eye test he seems to be ok with his eye. But he misses a lot of pitches in the zone

If Riley guesses right on a fastball he punishes it. If he doesn’t he swings and misses. I detailed the stats that show this earlier.
What is about to happen with Riley’s numbers shouldn’t surprise anyone, but folks insist on being ignorant.
I had to go scout my step-grandson's t-ball game (5- and 6-year olds). Some decent bat speed with a few of the kids, but baserunning and fielding was atrocious!
When I left, Julio had thrown 45 pitches in the first three innings. Nice to see he came back to Earth and threw 49 over the next two. I've always loved the guy, but we are basically piggy-backing with him on almost every start.
As bad as Julio may seem, he has a 3.25 ERA, shrugs.
3-0 LAD over Philly, bottom 8th.
Dodgers are pretty damn good, 5-0 now.
