In new tapes, President Trump admits to Bob Woodward he concealed
critical details he knew about the coronavirus.
"I wanted to always play it down."

These quotes are bad why?
Not casuing a panic is a smart strategy. He was also given terrible information about the virus early on. Who should that be blamed on?
DeBlasio and Cuomo rightfully deserve criticism for suggesting the subways were safe...it is same principle...don't sugarcoat things...you want citizens to have the right information
I'm all for getting the correct warnings, which is why I was critical of fauci's masks aren't needed. Have you criticized that statement by fauci?
Woodward thinks this is a scoop?
no...he had to walk a fine line because of concerns about lack of masks for medical personnel...plus the scientific consensus on the efficacy of masks HAS evolved
but i'm sure Fauci has made mistakes and would own up to it...we all make mistakes
Coincidentally its evolved at the same time the scientific community becomes more and more partisian. The review of the HCQ tests showed that clearly.
I don't think so on either score. Most of the partisanship imo on both masks and HCQ comes from an anti-scientific fringe. A pretty large fringe mind you. But not one with an evidentiary leg to stand on. Even guys with respectable credentials, like Harvey Risch, it's kinda of shocking to read their arguments and see how shoddy they are.
Let me sum up thethe in this whole thread
"Its everyones fault but Trump! Please God dont blame my lord and savior Fuhrer Trump!"
