The Coronavirus, not the beer

I know this is small sample size and all and correlation means next to nothing, but during the 3 outbreaks at my job, only 1 spread out much at all, and the first person infected had been disobeying our mask rules. The other 2 had only the initial positives.

Agreed its a long list. I stand by my statement.

We forced hundreds if millions of people globally into poverty for no reason. We are just starting to see the ill effects of lockdowns. It will play out for decades.

It was not for "no reason." You can say that all you want, but it's not a fact. But whatever. It is what it is. You've really invested yourself into this narrative and nothing will sway you. That's how it seems from an outside point of view. Lockdowns won't even crack the top 10k on that list.

The extended lockodwns past the original 15 days that mostly everyone supported? You're right though. There was a reason but it had nothing to do with the actual virus.

The repercussions of setting off a global depression from a singular terrible policy decision will always be viewed as one of the worst in human history. We are talking about catastrophic damage for decades.

I get that those that are cautious about covid don't see it but the data is already showing it just 8 months past. Excess mortality was almost solely lockdown induced and this is just the first half inning of what will be a 18 inning game of devastation globally.

I didn't say they were exploding. But they are rising and will likely be higher this weak than their peak back in June. I suspect, in general, they are much healthier than Americans so their hospitalizations should remain low.
