Masks don't work, that's why South Korea is being ravaged especially cause they have a higher population density as a nation than Stockholm Metro and Sweden certainly has handled it better than South Korea, And we all know South Korea's economy was totally ravaged while Sweden's is soaring.

Yes.

I’m not providing a commentary, just thought the data was interesting.

It's common for most of these type of diseases.

I'm tired of arguing with people who act like COVID death tolls aren't real. Not saying you are. I just don't want to hear the sturgs and thethe's parrot what you're saying. I already hear it way too much from my girlfriend's brother who regular visits r/conspiracy.

it seems what covud has killed the most is the flu

Masks work/help

If you aren’t using a mask properly, then they won’t work/aren’t helpful.

This ain’t rocket science

Redneck toothless trump loving Germans can't seem to wear their mask right like they were all summer

Weird

124 cases in South Korea yesterday

Compared to US in similar time frame, best state in the last 7 days is Vermont with 3.1 per 100K, by my math South Korea is at 0.22

South Korea has an area of about 39K square miles, and a populationa round 56M, vermont is much smaller, around 9K square miles and around 650K

I live right next to Vermont, it's liberal (they have strict travel guidlines, contact tracing, and mask mandates) and they have so much space. Their biggest city is Burlington which has a population under 50K

Whoa thats really cool about South korea thank you for the information that has nothing to do with locked down toothless redneck germans

Interesting

Are you arguing in favor of evolution and that a strong virus has wiped it out?

Or

Is it a different theory you are hinting at?

I think it's a combination of things. The efforts a lot of people are doing to stop covid are clearly going to be effective against the flu. Maybe even it's more effective against the flu than covid. Also I think viral interference is in play too. The flu may not be able to spread as easily when a whole population is already infected with covid.

But I've seen where flu reports are down like 98% in the southern hemisphere who has already gone through their winter months. Will be interesting to see what happens here in the states.

Flu has practically disappeared. Draw your onw conclusions on why.

Its a fairly simple answer. Masks, social distancing, and not shaking hands drastically reduces the chances to pass the flu. Its why a lot of people in Japan wore masks in public before the Trump virus.
