subsidizing vaccination is the same as taxing people who don't vaccinate...the math works out identically...just some folks have a hard time understanding that

ditto for electric vs regular cars...we can subsidize electric cars...or tax conventional ones...the effects are identical, including fiscal transfers from one group to the other

if it makes you feel better we can give everyone who gets vaccinated a thousand bucks instead

since you seem to think there is a difference i'm happy to settle for giving people who get vaccinated a cash bonus...though i suspect by now it should be dawning upon your consciousness that this is effectively a transfer payment from the unvaccinated to the vaccinated

I was talking to my Coke merchandiser last week . I live in a middle class family area and he’ll say that the biggest sellers of Coke products in this area are Coke and diet Coke. Makes sense. In the Inner city stores it’s predominately Orange and Grape Fanta, and barely any Diet Coke at all. He’s had Coke Zero go out of date sitting in the shelf in those stores.
 
It says a lot about what you think of people who agree with you that you can simply buy them off with subsidized borrowed fiat in order to win their vote. A good socialist

taxes will have to be raised to subsidize things like not smoking, not eating unhealthy foods, not buying guns and ammo, and getting vaccinated...glad you are catching on

alternatively we can tax cigarettes, guns, junk food and not being vaccinated...your choice since you seem to think there is a difference

I’m OK with recommendations as long as they remain recommendations and don’t become mandates. I think that’s a proper function of government.

Although after a year and a half of shoddy information and poor advice, not sure who’s putting their faith in government in this arena.

20 years after 9/11 we still have to waste how much of our lives playing security theater…not looking forward to similar legacies from COVID
