Frankly it’s amazing all these politicians who got it horribly wrong the entire Covid period are still in office . Bass, whitmer , newsom, Hochul etc… I guess Lightfoot got the boot for a guy as bad or worse.

I had a brother who died (before I was born) from whooping cough at age 2. I'm glad the pertussis vaccines have greatly reduced such deaths.

Btw infants under 6 months generally are not fully vaccinated for pertussis because it takes time for their immune system to fully respond to a regimen of vaccines. For protection, they rely on herd immunity from older children being vaccinated.

Sorry to hear that - Must be an odd feeling growing up thinking about what relationship could have been .

Lost my mother at a very early age but at least I have some semblance of a memory for her.

Again, sorry for yours and the families loss.
