The Coronavirus, not the beer

In the last few days I have had several people try to intimidate me when they overhear me talking to someone else about the Coronavirus even when it's not related to Trump. It's happened 3 times over 2 days where someone comes up to me while I was talking with someone and yelled "Dont talk about my President!" Then proceeded to try and say it's all a media conspiracy to get Trump. The first time we werent even talking about Trump. Theres nothing like the look on an idiot's face when they start going off on Hillary and Biden only for me to say "yeah I agree, lock them up. Couldnt agree more".
 
I'm tired of sensationalist media folks like "the federal government's top infectious diseases expert Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID)" who won't admit that this is exactly like the flu.

“The flu has a mortality rate of 0.1 percent. This has a mortality rate of 10 times that. That’s the reason I want to emphasize we have to stay ahead of the game in preventing this,” he added.

“Bottom line: It’s going to get worse,” Fauci said. “If we don’t do very serious mitigation now, what’s going to happen is we’re going to be weeks behind,” in containing the spread of the virus.

That’s means it’ll be a great time to get into it on Friday. Do you play the American market or do invest in the Chinese or Russian markets since our form of capitalism is so bad and its unfair to some of us?

I don't know what you're babbling about. I'm pointing out that the market is gonna bottom out, where the actual bottom is we won't know. but we rely on a lot of goods from Europe (and I'm assuming Europe is liekly to enact a similar ban with America) we do a lot of business with Germany. And it isn't all obvious. Like a lot of medical equipment and technology and almost anything optical has German parts in it. We're in for a rough rough ride for at least the next month. Possibly longer. I'm preparing for the worst. I will go stock up on non-perishables to ride me through the next month or so. I have a freezer mostly full of meat that I can cook. Like this could get really bad before it gets better, I hope it doesn't go that far, but we could be looking depression level bad. Hopefully the folks in Washington step up and don't allow it to come to this. Honestly the best thing to offer would be to just say to every American adult and emancipated youth, you get 4k for not going to work or going out for the next month. Only have grocery/drug stores stay open. Keep everything at a bare minimum. It would be a huge debt. But we're gonna see losses almost that high anyway.
 
When Trump starts trying to pass stimulus bills and handing out money to help those hurt by what's going on, do we start calling that socialism?

As I understand it Americans will still be able to travel to Europe and bring back the virus. Is that correct?

While American health officials declared a public health emergency on April 26, 2009, then-Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano downplayed the announcement, calling it “standard operating procedure," adding that she would rather refer to it as a "declaration of emergency preparedness." It wasn't until four months later in October, that then-President Obama himself declared an H1N1 national emergency.
