The Coronavirus, not the beer

It's not all sick people. And it doesnt say that anywhere in the article. You are literally making **** up now because you know you're wrong.

Healthy people are getting tested because of the hysteria problem like you are spreading.

I'm sorry that you need an article to tell you that sick people go to the hospital. I didn't say literally every person was sick. I said its not a random sample.

Is it possible that California's rate is lower because people unknowingly got it as the Stanford think tank suggested?

"I think the latter is possible. A lot of people have mentioned that you know, we may have had COVID-19 here a few months earlier than we suspected it could have been spreading. But again, I would have to go back to the numbers, and really look at the fact that we've had so many cases, pop up all over the country, and you know people are dying they're getting hospitalized or getting extremely sick. And before we were actually testing for COVID-19, those would come up as mysterious cases. So I would believe that local public health experts in positions still would have been saying like hey we're having a lot of people hospitalized for something, and none of our tests are coming back positive and so that never came up. Now it's possible in the past somebody may have died and they would have said you know this is pneumonia or respiratory failure, and they weren't exactly calling it COVID-19. But again, if we say that 50 to 60% need to be infected at herd immunity. That's hard for me to believe right now in the United States. We have about 19,000 deaths and 500,000 cases, that's a little bit more than 3%. We're going to be talking about 150 million Americans infected. Or better yet, getting them vaccinated which would actually do this in a safe way, get that herd immunity."

Shocking

I didn't say it is "all" sick people.

I don't know how to make a very simple thing more clear to you. The category of "people in Chicago going to a hospital for coronavirus testing" is going to have a greater % of sick people than the category "the general population of Chicago." Likely, a much greater %. Ergo, it is not random sampling, even if some non-sick people are still going.

I'm pretty sure I could get the big ape from Mighty Joe Young to understand that point, so you refusing to get it is basically just a choice.

Your dip****tery is kind of starting to stress me out. I'm gonna stop responding to you for a while.

Please don't make light of or try to downplay the 7000 people in this city who have died and the many more who will soon die. It is really... messed up.

I'm looking forward to you discussing all deaths as they happen in the near future.

Death is a part of life and I learned this at 8 years of age. There is more to consider than just saving everyone.

You are making assumptions about who is going. If there were widespread antibody testing available a representative sample would show up to be tested.

Not even sure if current infected have antibody levels to test for them.

And you aren't making assumptions?

Standard logic tells us that, in general, people who are going to a hospital to be tested are likely to be already sick.

No...this is Coronavirus testing so the whole world is hyperventilating so they are all going.

I know, thethe is making me want to just plain log off the site for a few months. I didn't think that level of cruelty would be on display.

You deserve a prize for the patience you've shown in this thread.
