How are their hopsitals doing?
Hospital. Not plural. My wife works there.
Employees are getting sick. People have worked 7 days straight with no days off trying to cover.
These people need LOADS of medicine made to keep them stable. It’s taxing EVERY area of the hospital. They have turned convenient care facility into a temporary ICU.
We have been in shelter in place for 4 weeks now, 5 for me since
I had the flu. We aren’t expected to peak for the next 10 days.
This thing is crazy. Presents different in lots of patients. Very tricky.
There is nothing financial to gain by announcing Covid deaths. The coroner announced we were over 100 dead already with another 150+ hospitalized as of yesterday. The hospital lost an Evs worker in 48 hours from symptoms to death.
Hard to say we aren’t going to see this again in a month but it’s hard to tell your loved ones goodbye via FaceTime which is how the nurses are doing it. They aren’t allowed visitors or anyone into the hospital.
