The Coronavirus, not the beer

tanning beds was what came to mind for me when i saw the clip...any good tanning bed companies listed on the stock market?

btw going outside is one of the things we should be doing (with appropriate social distancing)...vitamin D is good for the immune system...my daily walk usually includes a stop at the donut store...but that's a different matter

Go to donut?

You guys are raging lunatics and then the biggest idiot comes to post his drivel randomly. World is hard outside of a computer database.

Even breitbart

Had a fact-checker say it was false and then you read the story and it says “he said that but what he meant was”

It literally doesn’t matter what he does, you will defend it. Absolutely amazing. What is it like to be in a cult?

It's called context which many of you seem to be lacking. There was no such suggestion. Its 100% clear.

Hydroxychloriquine failed as a miracle drug, so now we're going to test lasers, tanning beds, sunlight inside the body (somehow?), and bleach injections.

Someone tell him about balancing humours. Bloodletting is safer.

Common fanatical stupid leftist take.

Well done.

Keep hoping hydroxychloroquine doesnt work. So far, the 'failed' as you call it has yet to be shown. But keep touting a stupid study that proved nothing. Really shows how uninformed you are.

The summary then is that we stayed inside and let the virus live longer. Lockdowns were not only ineffective but may have been damaging.

Let's be afraid!

I don’t think Trump literally thinks you should inject bleach into your veins, I think he is just too stupid to realize that’s what he was suggesting. He just is way too far in over his head. It’s like at the beginning when he was like “but like a really good flu shot will work right?” He is lacking basic conceptual understanding.

Staying indoors will be looked at retrospectively as a terrible decision.

Anyone still want to make an argument why we should be locked down?

Going to be horrified at people at the beach in *checks notes*....sunny/hot/humid Florida?

What a joke some of you and the the majority of the left has been. Trump adjacent hysteria

Interesting piece at The Bulwark.

The movement to “reopen” America is a fallacy based on a fantasy.

The fallacy is the notion that lifting stay-at-home orders will result in people going back to their normal routines. This is false. The state-issued stay-at-home orders did not determine most people’s desires to stay home—they merely ratified behaviors that the vast majority of people and institutions were already adopting in response to COVID-19.

The fantasy is that we can go back to what the world looked like 12 weeks ago. This is not possible now and will not be possible until we possess a vaccine for the novel coronavirus.

Understand that I am not saying that stay-at-home orders should be indefinite. What I am saying is that whenever the stay-at-home orders are rolled back—whether it is tomorrow or a month from now—it will not result in anything like a “reopening” of the country. And the sooner people grasp how completely and fundamentally the world has changed, the faster we’ll be able to adapt to this new reality.

Its not based on this fantasy and this is the common red herring used by those who foolishly grip on to a failed policy.

10% going back to normal is better than the disaster we have now.

Ecuador is at its name suggests on the equator. It is even more sunny, hot and humid that Florida. All year long. And it is one of the hardest hit places in the world.

It may be safe for people to go to beaches with some precautions. But we don't know. It seems plausible that a crowd in an enclosed space is more at risk than one that is outdoors. When the restaurants reopen I'm going to favor outdoor seating, which I do anyhow.

This is just a silly comparison to letting people in the US go outside.
