The lockdowns happened cause not enough was done initially and the virus was spreading


Maybe a more pro active route and treating it seriously instead of calling it a hoax would have been more helpful from allowing those things to happen

Yeah maybe the respective leaders there could have made better choices.

45 countries closed their border to flights from China before Trump. We dont accept this as an inevitability. Trumps in charge. This never happened before despite numerous threats. Hard to conclude this as anything but gross incompetence by the Trump administration. You can not deny if this happened in 2013 Trump would be blasting Obama and demanding he resign. He did that over 2 deaths from Ebola. Hope he keeps demanding people thank him for his terrible handling of the issue. Nothing wins voters over like saying how good of a job you are doing when 100k Americans die.

New Zealand, Vietnam, South Korea, Germany, Canada to name a few


you really trying hard to act like the wasted months of nothing and then wasted months of not mass testing so we could possible reopen earlier and safer aren't a thing

i'm not that worried about your opinion on my take

i don't care if we are prepared for something that might not happen

you really need to be vocal on wasteful defense spending if that spending got you all up in arms

You realize Trump was encouraging this exact same behavior don't you? Certainly there's plenty of blame to be dolled out across the country, but generally speaking, you start at the top since that is who sets the tone for everyone else.

this is like pontius pilate

they have washed their hands of him doing anything wrong for any of the negative things from this


it's weird how he is both to be praised for handling this and also wasn't his fault at all at the same time
