This issue definitely should be investigated, and the numbers should be checked. Not by the government. They have every reason and motive to lie and twist the truth, and they have shown over and over again that they will do just that. I honestly find it awfully convenient that we find all this out right when the government desperately needs control of the numbers. Funny how this sort of thing keeps working out.
Hurts you everyday how often I've been right compared to your positions the past few years.

I actually meant period, but I do think our health is completely secondary to the people in control.
I personally would have every state form a scientific coalition, and then each state's coalition would combine to form a response team. That team would collect and analyze the data and release a strategy for minimizing the damage until we get a vaccine. This would include general information and state specific information. Politicians should not be involved. This should be like on a starship in Star Trek. The doctor has taken control during this health crisis. I think that would be the best we could get. Not perfect, but certainly better than what we have now.
Giving decision making power to someone who isn't beholden to the voters is a losing proposition in a constitutional Republic.
Just my opinion.

Given their continual blatant dishonesty I don’t know how even you can trust that the administration will report the data accurately. Keeping the data public keeps corruption at bay. The whole reason these errors were caught was because the data was public. There are no checks and balances for one of the most corrupt administrations we’ve ever seen.
We have absolutely zero clue what the process will be. What we know is the data in the public space is already corrupted. Cases exploding and deaths decreasing. The lag is coming to an end to explain the disparity.
People pretending the data could be worse isnjust more political posturing. There is a clear attempt to make the situation seem worse than it is to keep us locked down.
Now why would some people want that? It couldn't have to do with Nov 4th could it?
