We are fatter than other countries, but that's not why the last few months far more Americans have died than in peer group countries. Unless we got a lot fatter and less healthy all of a sudden around late June.

i'm not sure i understand your question...certainly infection and death rates vary across time and across countries...but I thought your argument was that the unusually high deaths in this country in recent months was fat-related...is that the same argument or have you moved on to something different
