It would help if you would pick whether the lockdowns are to hurt Trump and they will be lifted as soon as he loses or if Biden wins he is going to lock down the country. Last time I asked you said 50/50 but then go on stating both as if they are facts.

My prediction is that they will loosen restrictions once Biden safely wins... but that a lot of the power they gained will not be given back and more quickly enforced in the future. Kinda like what happened after 9/11, we never got those liberties back. And biden is threatening to shut us down again. Doing so gives them an excuse to bail out horribly run fiscal states like NY and California, and allows local leaders to target their political opponents as we are currently seeing with church goers and Jews in NYC.

The restrictions are constantly changing over the thousands of jurisdictions and no doubt there will be places it gets looser and places it gets tighter. Whats the excuse for all the other countries who used lockdowns and required masks? What power did they gain that they didnt already have in a national emergency like COVID? Biden is threatening to listen to the experts who spent their whole lives on the subject. Trump is currently using his gut and instinct to make decisions because he thinks he is the smartest person to ever smart. Its like asking a rodeo clown to fly your Boeing Jet instead of an actual pilot. I couldnt agree with you more about not bailing out badly run states. On average every state receives 1.14$ for ever 1$ in taxes they pay to the federal government. According to a Rockefeller Institute of Government report from 2017 California receives only 96% of what they pay to the federal government back. MA 83%, CT 82%, NY 81% and NJ 74%. Only 8 states send more to the federal government than they get back and the top 6 are traditionally blue states. The little thethe's in NY pay on average 1,125$ a year to subsidize the welfare states like Kentucky who on average received 10,000 more than they paid in federal taxes. Have you ever heard Moscow Mitch thank NY for this? Over the last 4 years NY has paid 116 billion more to the federal government than it received. For every tax dollar MS sends to the federal government they receive 2.13, WV 2.07, Kentucky 1.90, and SC 1.71. So please do go on and tell me how we shouldnt be bailing out these terrrible run states.

And I am glad I dont have to listen to Fox News call a mask mandate "literally Sharia Law" if Obama was President. I am sure your do nothing and see what happens approach to something like this would be wildly popular with voters. If there is one thing people dont want when there is a plague going around its government interference.
 



Here is a leaked audio of Trump ****ting all over Dr. Fauchi. Dont worry though, Trump literally says he is fine with this getting out at the end. Couldnt find the audio in a clip alone so here it with added Anderson Cooper commentary. How sad is it that the President is so jealous of an employee that he feels the need to try and tear him down to make himself feel better. When we say he runs his Presidency based on whats good for PR and not whats good for the country Exhibit A is here where he says Dr. Fauchi got everything wrong but laments that he cant fire him or it would be a PR nightmare.

Heres a handy dandy data chart for you. You see how they have the states broken down between worst cases in red for 25+ new cases per day per 100k people, orange for 25-10 new cases per day per 100k people, and then Yellow for 10 or less new cases per day per 100k people. I am not going to count islands like Guam and PR and all that. What do all those 10 or less new cases per 100k people states have in common? California, Oregon, Washington, Maine, NH, NY, Virgina, Mass, and DC. Anyone? Beuhler?
