The Coronavirus, not the beer

But zito said he found a google article saying we should wear masks!

To answer this, this person doesn't understand how to work google's algorithm.

Google returns the most recent results first and the discussion of masks and fauci have happened multiple times since this virus staeted.

If you add a clarifying word like march results start showing up from March. Throw quotes aruound something he said the interview (and seceral snarky right wing twitter posts) show up.

Explaining how a search engine works isn't in my area of expertise, but working it sure is

US set record yesterday, 91,530. Here's list of states that set their record yesterday: Illinois, North Carolina, Michigan, Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, and North Dakota. New York with most cases since may 21st. Massachusetts with most cases since may 12th.

Not much good to report, but Louisiana is doing quite well. Their cases are continuing downward trend. There's probably more out there... help me out with good ones. Got to do work this morning.

Appreciate your consistent work on this but as long as the death rate continues to plummet the higher case counts are good news to me. Faster we get to global herd immunity.

This was always the only way to beat the virus and we wasted 7 months with stupid policies.

Tell me again how many times we've reached herd immunity without a vaccine? Every protective decision we make potentially saves lives and holds back the wave a little bit until the vaccine gets here, which is the only way this ends.

according to thethe, new york city, stockholm and madrid reached it six months ago

And throwing hundreds of millions into poverty in the process. To pretend that part isn't a factor in the decisions that need to be made is naive.

With something like this, that **** was going to happen regardless. You don't have a pandemic without millions of people suffering tremendously, both physically and financially.

Yeah it’s almost like curing a new virus is hard or something.

You know private companies are working on this right?

none of that has anything to do with the repeated lies about covid coming from the white house and their bull**** they keep flinging out there

everyone knew it wouldn't be ready at that time

and yet

they still went out there and said it

and now when pointing out that lie the reply is "yeah, this is hard" etc

I don't think anyone is sitting on their thumbs about Covid. But yeah, regardless of the politcal party in office it isn't really news and something we need to hold our breath on.

A vaccine may not even work.

Lockdowns are so badly destructive.

Can't believe anyone supports them.

So many on this board relentlessly defended the failed policy

Its as if it doesn't exist. Covid didn't do this. Irrational fear mongering and disinformation about the severity of the virus scared the population into a global recession.
