The Coronavirus, not the beer

Evidence surfacing that antibodies were present in intact since September 2019. That means it was in the US as well late 2019 but most likely the whole year. Political tool used to help win an election. Plain and simple.

That point of view is only valid if it was a US specific disease. Clearly...that's not the case here.

Measures announced by Governor Whitmer. Looks like she has tried to strike a balance between costs and benefits. Keeping younger students in school. But going to remote learning for high school and college students. I think we'll be seeing most governors roll out some variant of this during the next few weeks.

My 80 yr old mother in MS has tested positive. Said it feels like a head cold and that mainly she just feels fatigued. She doesn't want to drink fluids because everything tastes like a chemical. Thinks she had it for a week before she felt bad enough that my sister in law who's a nurse made her get tested.

I remember back in the early summer when the lockdown was first being discussed. Some doctor said the worst thing that we could do was have lockdowns that ended too quickly, timing a resurgence in cases from ending lockdowns with the inevitable 2nd wave that would come in the fall and winter. Looks like that's what has happened.

Prayers for your mom. The fact she is still feeling pretty well is a great sign.

As for this paragraph ... HUH?

It’s all about shifting away towards individual freedom to a more central planning model. Been that way for a LONG time. Covid was a weapon used to expedite that process.

in what world do you not assess how you are doing and if you might could do something better?

and what better time to do such an assessment than after a big test?

so weird that y'all think that video clip is saying a quite part out loud or something

She thinks she's been sick with this for almost 2 weeks, so maybe the worst of the symptoms are behind her.

Thanks for the well wishes. I'll pass them on.

Yes, she complains of severe fatigue. At 80 I'm surprised she's doing as well as she is.
