Lockdowns slowed this process down. Not being forthright about who is at risk slowed this process down.

I will always feel we could have achieved here immunity in 6 months had we made risk based decisions and let the virus run its course. No masks. No lockdowns. Just tell those at risk to be smart and make the right decisions for themselves. In our advanced society those at risk can still get everything they need. Let us healthy guinea pigs do they dirty work to get rid of the virus.

There would have been no economic meltdown. 5 million more Americans would still be working. My boy would still be president (selfish me).

We would be in a much better spot right now.

For anyone who understands how herd immunity and viruses actually work, this comes across as completely and utterly ignorant.
 
update on mom

went and saw her and think she has turned a corner. still really worn out but thankfully looks ok it seems

still needs some rest but thankfully it didn't turn out worse with her being in the most dangerous age group and medical history

thanks to anyone who asked about her or possibly gave a prayer for mama goldfly

a dc can gloat about this i guess if he wants but i know the last 2 weeks haven't been fun waking up to call her and see if the cough had turned worse etc etc etc

Good to hear, man. My mom is still having a few issues, and now my brother has it.

yeah, we are 2 weeks past showing signs so, i think we are out of the woods. i'm still a little cautious to celebrate it

i hope mama Dalyn gets through it soon man. sorry about your brother too.
 
At some point, maybe our media and critical thinkers alike might begin to question if its really masks that are the key driver in whether this thing spreads or not.

As it stands, at what point do people stop listening to all these experts who never get it right?

He's right though. Much easier to add things to my cart in the Kroger app as they become necessary, then read a book in the Kroger parking lot while they bring it out and load it in the car.
