The Coronavirus, not the beer

He's right though. Much easier to add things to my cart in the Kroger app as they become necessary, then read a book in the Kroger parking lot while they bring it out and load it in the car.

That’s fine for people that are choosing it. Stop changing how things are done when there is no proven risk increase especially to those in the lowest age groups.

What is the tipping etiquette? Can you do it via app?

They get paid pretty well. Tip in the app, service fees, delivery fees, etc...some go to the app and some go to the store though.

I haven’t been inside a grocery store in well over 18 mo. The items are more expensive but that’s fine .

To second Tapate, I called the store to ask and was told it's not suggested because they're paid well for it. There is technically a nominal fee for online pickup, but they wave it once the order hits something like $50.

My first job was bagging groceries at the px and taking it to people's cars at Patrick Air Force base. The only pay was tips. I made good money a couple summers. No apps back then! I'm always nice to the baggers.

Yep, I bagged at a couple of chains and managed one of those and at a third chain. Baggers made much better money at the places that allowed tips than the one that didn't. The place that didn't allow tips would fire anyone who accepted tips, and used secret shoppers to enforce it.

a commissary at a military base is a bit different...because of the prices people will drive longer distances and load up on several weeks of groceries...that's heavy duty bagging

Today in history Sweden capitulates to the sheeple way. Mask up Stockholm. Looking forward to graphs showing how masks arent working in Stockholm.

drop in cases seems to have halted both here and globally...this is a good thread on what drives some of these ups and downs (non-conspiracy theory type explanations)

Conspiracy theory on this could be dispelled easily.

Why won’t it be done?
