I suspect the dominoes will start falling. Red states will open. Blue states will remain closed until they see them losing business and people. Then they will open as well.
But blue states can always count on uncle Joe for federal bailouts
Psychological damage to the human population.

Take credit for what exactly? Being the group in the White House when all the work to get that was done by the prior administration. What credit should Biden get for just swiping a credit card?

All the work goes to the prior administration that wouldn’t even admit how severe the virus was and kept downplaying it for a year.
so much that Trump didn’t even announce he had gotten the vaccine.
the mental gymnastics from he and his supporters to simultaneously downplay the virus as not a big deal and then play the saviors card is quite impressive.
