I’m not going to continue to prove science to you when we’ve all been immersed in it for well over a year. No matter what you’re shown you will only believe in the nonsense that the Trump cult has told you to believe.

but in order of your post:
1. Parents are radiologist and OBGYN... wife is an ophthalmologist. Parents were scared ****less bc they are older and diabetic. Now that they have the vaccine, they are good to go, because they understand how immunity works. The wife started off scared but is open to reason and data and has since realized who is at risk and who isn't, that the government response is incoherent and contradictory, and that we have massively overacted based on the data. She is very pro vaccine and laughs her ass off when Lord Fauci says you still need to mask up after getting it. She is very concerned about the massive income inequality that we are creating by these policies, and very much worries about our future children growing up like this who aren't affluent enough to make the best of this. I love that woman (note- she very rarely votes the same way I do)
2. This is a long rambling way of saying "I don't have that evidence, and therefore can't post it here because it doesn't exist." It's OK to say and admit that... it's far more rational to say that, then to pretend you actually do have all this great evidence, but are actively choosing not to post as some sort of virtuous stance against the anti-science sturg! No critical thinker believes that (please note, goldy is not a critical thinker)
But I'll ask again, if you have the evidence that wearing a mask is effective in stopping reinfection after gaining immunity, I am genuinely asking you to post it so I can read through it.
3. I'm not cool with anyone lying to me. I don't look to Trump for heath guidance (look at the man)... I don't pay attention to anything he says other than things that affect me personally (my liberty)... I appreciated Trump's resistance to embracing ineffective lockdowns and mask wearing, and his willingness to want to open society and schools back up and not let covid "dominate your life"... I very much agree with that sentiment.
But every time someone lies to you, they should lose credibility and trust. And Lord Fauci has admitted at least twice to
lying to you. The first was when he said masks were useless last Spring. He later said he was lying in order to not have a run on masks... but if masks are essential, how many lives did he cost with that lie?
The second lie was when he gave two different herd immunity numbers. He changed the numbers upward and said he lied because the "public wasn't ready to hear the truth." I'm sure you find this virtuous and merciful, but I find it repugnant.
In addition, his policy has
not been driven by evidence. He made the 6 ft guideline up out of thin air... the data has since disproven that... but Fauci made it up out of thin air. There is no evidence that shows efficacy of mask usage against Covid, but 85% of the country is wearing them while the cases continued to surge. There is no evidence that children are a vector for spread, yet many schools are still closed.
The guy who you have given religious blind faith to, has 1.) Lied to you multiple times, and has admitted to doing it; 2.) has made policy based on no evidence at all; and 3.) Has gotten so many major major things wrong, and is unwilling to unwind it because it would look so bad. Reminder - he called New York the "gold standard"
