So Bannon and his benefactor were sponsoring pre-prints, from a Chinese virologist with basically no experience in SARS/MERS and had only dealt in influenza

Yes, immunity to the strain of covid you got could last for years. It's hard to know right now because we have about 18 months of history to study but the immune reaction looks to be strong. However, that's not massive news. The concern is that Covid will mutate to evade the natural immunity. This is why the vaccine is so important.

The vaccine uses the spike protein. mRNA is injected that is the instructions to make the spike protein. Your cells then read this mRNA and they make the spike protein. Your immune system recognizes it as foreign and destroys the proteins. Then if it sees the spike protein on a covid virus, it attacks the virus. The rest of Covid could mutate but as long as the spike protein remains, the immunity from the vaccine will work. This is why the vaccine is so clever. If there's a mutation on the spike protein there's a very good chance it will make the virus less transmissible as that protein is vital to transmission. It's not guaranteed, but it's better protection against mutations than natural immunity.

We all knew it was possible the immunity could last for a good while, but that has no bearing on the vaccines. We are just now getting research finalized that supports that. It would be incredibly irresponsible to just assume the early indications were actually what we were facing, and it still would be. An emergency response cannot afford to take those kind of chances. So, it's not really ridiculous...it's just the normal responsible thing to suggest under these circumstances.

Yeah from a theoretical perspective. Only until the last 5-10 years has been able to leap to the more applica to on phase so to say that scientists don’t see traditional markers is just outright stupid. But again, when the science “changes” you’ll just act like you were being responsible and not naive.

For it to not have long lasting immunity would have been the outlier so it was your side that was acting irresponsibly spreading fear because of your own fears.

There has not been one variant discovered that gets past natural immunity. Reinfection rates around the globe are statistically zero and are more likely caused by over cycling pcr tests and catching dead virus.

I’m not against people taking the vaccine but nobody under 40 that’s healthy should take it since no mutation has been able to get past people immunity. Therefore, the people actually at risk can be protected while not pushi mg inner fears on the rest of the healthy population.

You people who think the CCP created this virus should want herd immunity as fast as possible more than anyone. Herd immunity became irrelevant once vaccines were developed.

Variants aren’t bypassing prior immunity.

Immunity is lasting for years.

Don't talk to me like you understand any of this. You don't, and you have proven that over and over again. Teams have been doing this research in various places around the world for 20+ years. If we understand it enough to do what you are suggesting the CCP did, then we know enough to know what to look for.

What was happening in the wuhan lab was not authorized as fauchi went behind the trump administration back to reinvigorate after Obama shut it down.

Typically the most risky and borderline illegal/unethical research happens behind the veil of an evil leadership like the ccp.

Herd immunity became REASONABLY PROBABLE once vaccines were developed. The idea that it became irrelevant is just...ignorant even for you. I don't even hear the usual morons on social media trying to make that argument. Wow. lol
