It's a lot more complex than that. Were some of the overdoses the result of isolation from Covid? Sure. But there was going to be a spike even without Covid. We're in the midst of an opioid epidemic.

Thats what happens when you take away peoples livlihoods and keep them indoors though.

Of course the numbers were already dreadful since we just allow the Cartels to run the border since we are a racist country. Lecturer loves the Cartels.

Breakdown of the family is partially caused by our massive drug problem in this country.

Why don't we get serious and stop the drugs being imported by the CCP through the Cartels?

Isn't it possible the causality works both ways.

From loss of sense of personal responsibility to the opioid crisis. I think it goes in that direction too.

Some of the same people who get fat putting the wrong foods in their body also put fentanyl into their body.

Of course, this doesn't mean we shouldn't have compassion and empathy and try to find ways to help them.
