The Coronavirus, not the beer

I've done everything exactly the same pre and post COVID.

Never got sick but probably got it.

You continue to live scared. I'll enjoy the only life given to me and since I've made the personal decision to be healthy there is a 99.999999999% it doesn't even put me in the hopsital.

I’m fairly certain I don’t live scared but thanks for another incorrect assumption. In fact, one could say it’s you that lives scared with your plethora of posts every day. Literally you are on here 24/7 posting nonsensical lies. How you have a job is beyond me with all the posting you do. Also not sure how you’re going to take care of a small child between all the posting. You’ve let Trump and the 2020 election literally consume every moment of your life. Sounds like a scared and pathetic life if you ask me. But keep doing you. Sad.

Oven Mitts. Oven Mitts. Oven Mitts.

Not treating hand burns.
Not using forge tongs.
Not eating cold food.
Not building up nerve ending free scar tissue.

Why?

Equivalent to spending time in a hospital room full of covid patients but sure make an irrelevant comparison.

The line of “living life scared” is so dumb lol

One would think these idiots would be scared ****less once they actually get covid, especially if they get the delta variant; but as you can see above in that video, they’re too proud and too dumb to do anything about it. They’d rather die proud than take a vaccine that could prevent severe illness/death. Hard to feel bad when they do it to themselves.

To be fair I don't think these people are anti-mask or anti-vaccine so much as they are pro-ventilator.

Personally I am unvaccinated and I am not gonna get it either. The most vulnerable people are elderly church goers. They consistently vote to make me a criminal so I use my vote to hopefully kill off as many of them as possible. Might sound mean but all I want is to make my own choices and I have no issues with however many bodies it takes to achieve that.

The effort to bash DeSantis for Florida Covid numbers rising during the time half the country invades his state for a week vacation is amusing. During our two weeks in SW Florida we had neighbors from Pennsylvania, Chicago, NYC, Kentucky, and Puerto Rico. I saw license plates from places as far as away as Maine, Montana, Idaho, Washington, and California.

I guess he was supposed to close down a state heavily dependent on tourism, after missing out on a lot of that business last year. Then you guys could bash the candidate you're afraid of for his bad economy instead.

They scared... they know he coming in 2024

I live in New Hampshire where tourism is a massive industry, especially up where I live. Cases have gone up, we're a 33 cases on our average. How does that compare to Florida?

Hmmm, what could be the difference? Perhaps it's that 58% of NH residents are vaccinated compared to 48% or Florida residents.

You comparing tourism in NH to Florida? Let's see some raw numbers. Florida has to be top 3 for tourists. No idea if this is what's fueling an increase in cases, but NH and Florida aren't comparable in tourism.

After just glancing at random states' case graphs from last year, southern states took a pounding in July then too while northern states didn't. Most likely the heat of the south driving people indoors under AC

Not an irrelevant comparison. Sometimes you push a solution because it's the best solution. That doesn't mean other things aren't being pursued, it just means what's being pushed is most effective.

Oven mitts are the best way to not be burned when taking something hot out of the oven. That doesn't mean there's nothing treating burns or other alternatives. It just means there is a readily available and effective preventative measure.

The same is true with the vaccine. It's the best way to fight against the spread of Covid. That doesn't mean they aren't researching treatments. In fact, treatments have gotten much better since March of last year. It just means there's a readily available and effective preventative measure. That's why it's being pushed.

Or vaccination rates.

FLorida gets more tourists, but is a much larger state. Like a much much larger state.

I don't think you're wrong that more indoor activity plays a role, because it's certainly why states in the cold part of the country were much worse in the Winter than the southern states. But honestly, that's only part of the picture. It's 90% vaccination rates 10% environment.
